Brandy Cocktails
|
Brandy is a distillation of wine or fermented fruit
Alsatian
- 1 part cherry brandy
- 1 part brandy
- 1/2 part cold black coffee
- 1 part sugar syrup
- Shake all together with ice and strain into a glass
American Rose
- 1 shot malibu
- 1 shot vodka
- 1 shot blue curacao
- mixer pineapple juice
- dash lime juice
- small dash sinop
- 4 -6 cubes (cracked) Ice
- 1 1/2 measures brandy
- 1tsp grenadine
- 1/2 tsp pernod
- 1/2 fruit (peeled and mashed) peach
- sparkling wine
- Put the cracked ice in a cocktail shaker
- Pour the brandy, grenadine and Pernod over the ice and add the half peach
- Shake vigorousely until frost forms
- Strain into chilled wine goblet and top up with sparkling wine
- Stir gently, then garnish with peach wedge
- Variations - White Rose, Jack Rose, Russian Rose, Bermuda Rose
Angel's Kiss
- 1/4 shot creme de cacao
- 1/4 shot sloe gin
- 1/4 shot brandy
- 1/4 shot cream
- Layer in order, into a Pony or Pousse-cafe glass
Aunt Jemima
- 1/3 shot brandy
- 1/3 shot creme de cacao white
- 1/3 shot benedictine
- Layer into a Shot glass in whatever order you choose
Aviation
- 1 part brandy
- 1 part creme de cacao white
- 1 part benedictine
- Layer in order into a Pony or Shot glass
Bazooka
- 1/2 shot brandy
- 1 shot cherry brandy
- 1 shot gin
- pineapple spear
- Shake together with ice (except pineapple) and strain into cocktail glass.
- Garnish with pineapple
Brandy cookie
- Brandy - preferably Napoleon Brandy
- Add a round shortbread cookie.
- Let soak for 10 minutes.
- Serve warm.
- Serve in small round brandy glass.
Brandy cooler
- 1 teaspoon caster sugar
- juice of 1/2 lemon(s)
- 1 shot brandy
- ginger ale
- Shake all except ginger ale together with ice and pour into a large whisky glass and top up with ginger ale.
Brandy Crusta
- Grenadine
- Juice of 1/2 lemon(s)
- Splash angostura bitters
- 1 glass brandy
- Dip rim of whisky glass in grenadine shake off excess moisture
- Dip in caster sugar frosting the rim
- Mix together liquor (except grenadine), lemon juice and ice.
- Shake together and strain into glass
Brandy Daisy
- Juice of 1/4 lemon(s)
- 1/4 shot grenadine
- 1 shot brandy
- Soda
- 2x glace cherry
- 2x pineapple spear
- Place crushed ice into liquidiser (1/3 full)
- Add lemon juice grenadine and brandy
- Blend for 1/2 minute and strain into champagne glass.
- Add a dash of chilled soda and the fruit.
Brandy Fix
- Juice of 1 lemon(s)
- 1 shot curacao
- 1 shot brandy
- Fill a glass 1/3 full of crushed ice add lemon juice brandy and curaçao.
- Mix with spoon and garnish with lemon slice.
Brandy Liqueur
- 1/2 shot curacao
- 1 egg (yolk)
- 1/2 shot brandy
- Lightly whisk all together
Brandy Pick Me Up
- 1 shot brandy
- champagne
- Shake brandy and crushed ice together (3-4 ice cubes crushed)
- Pour into tumbler and top up with champagne.
Brandy Sour
- 3 to 4 cubes in tall glass Ice
- 3 to 4 splashes swirled with ice then poured out angostura bitters
- ice to taste Ice
- 2 measures of brandy
- 1/2 measure lemon juice
- topped up to taste lemonade
- Put ice in tall glass pour on bitters swirl and pour out
- Add ice to glass pour in brandy add lemon juice then top up with lemonade
Bud Bombshell
- 1 Bottle (Preferably Budweiser) beer
- 2 Shots brandy
- 2 Shots Jack Daniels
- 2 Shots vodka
- Pour Beer into Pint Glass. Add each ingredient drink off in one go.
Burga Factoree
- Shot brandy
- Half bottle Smirnoff Ice
- one sugar cube(s)
- Serve in a wine glass, sugar in first with brandy on top. Once disolved, pour on smirnoff.
Champagne Daisy
- 1 shot lemon juice
- 1/4 shots grenadine
- 1/2 shot brandy
- Champagne
- Place crushed ice into liquidiser (1/3 full) add lemon juice grenadine and brandy
- Blend for 1/2 minute and strain into champagne glass
- Add a dash of chilled champagne and a ganish of red cherry and pineapple chunks.
Champagne Pick Me Up
- 1/2 shot brandy
- 1/2 shot dry vermouth
- Champagne
- Shake brandy, vermouth and crushed ice together (3-4 ice cubes crushed)
- Pour into tumbler and top up with champagne.
Cherry Fix
- 1 shot brandy
- 2 shots lemon juice
- 1 shot kirsch
- Fill a glass 1/3 full of crushed ice add lemon juice, kirsh and cherry brandy.
- Mix with spoon and garnish with lemon slice
Classic Cocktail
- 1 tsp caster sugar
- 4 -6 cubes (cracked) Ice
- 2 measures brandy
- 1/2 measure (clear Curacao) curacao
- 1/2 measure maraschino
- 1/2 measure lemon juice
- Rub the rim of a chilled glass with the lemon wedge and then dip in sugar to frost.
- Put ice into shaker with the brandy, Curacao, Marachino and lemon juice.
- Shake well.
- Strain into frosted glass and decorate with lemon twist.
- Variations: Champagne Cocktail, Tequila Cocktail, Brandy Cocktail.
Fantasio
- 2 shots brandy
- 1 shot dry vermouth
- 1 teaspoon creme de menthe
- 1 teaspoon maraschino
- Mix together with crushed ice and strain into a chilled cocktail glass
Irish Headlock
- 1 part amaretto
- 1 part baileys
- 1 part brandy
- 1 part irish whiskey
- Layer into shot glass
Jaw breaker
- Aftershock green
- brandy
- Brandy first the layer Aftershock.
Karroke Smash
- 3 shots baileys
- 1 shot Banana Liqure
- 3 shots brandy
- Yum!
Lamumba
- 1/3 brandy
- 3/4 chocolate milkshake
- Topped whipped cream
- Plenty ice
- Pour in the brandy add plenty of ice then add the chocolate milkshake and top with whipped cream
- Lovely!
Netherlands
- 2 shots brandy
- 1 shot curacao
- Dash orange bitters
- Shake all ingredients together then strain into a chilled old fashioned glass over ice cubes.
Passport to Hell
- 1/2 shot whisky
- 1/2 shot brandy
- 1/2 shot triple sec
- 1/2 shot stroh rum (80% alcohol)
- Poor the ingredients so that the rum remains the last
- Then light it up
- Take a teaspoon of brown sugar and hold it above the flame until it starts melting
- When beginning to melt repeatedly introduce and take out the spoon from the glass for generating a huge flame
- After the sugar melts take a straw and drink
Sidecar
- 1 part brandy
- 1 part curacao
- 2 parts lemon juice
- Shake together with ice and serve in a cocktail glass.
Stinger
- 1 measure creme de menthe
- 2 measures brandy
- 4 -6 cubes (cracked) Ice
- Shake well and strain into highball glass.
- Variations: Amaretto Stinger, Chocolate Stinger, Irish Stinger.
Swedish Ice Coffee
- 4 cl vodka
- 4 cl kahlua
- 4 cl brandy
- 4 cl cointreau
- 5 cl cola
- Shake Vodka, Kahlua, Cointreu, and the brandy with ice.
- Top with Cocas Cola. Garenish with Pineapple and a cherry
The Cobb Web
- 1 Shot bacardi
- 1 Shot tequila
- 1 Shot brandy
- lemonade
- Mix together in a cocktail glass with ice.
Victor
- 2 parts gin
- 2 parts brandy
- 1 part sweet vermouth
- Shake together well with ice and strain into chilled cocktail glass.
Whisky Fix
- 4 shots lemon juice
- 1 shot curacao
