Curacao Cocktails

Curacao is clear and colourless. Made using the small and slightly bitter Curacao oranges. It has a really nice orange smell.

    Black Iceberg
  • 1/2 shot black vodka
  • 1/2 shot curacao
  • Layer curaçao and black vodka in a clear colourless glass with black vodka on top over ice.

    Brandy Fix
  • Juice of 1 lemon(s)
  • 1 shot curacao
  • 1 shot brandy
  • Fill a glass 1/3 full of crushed ice add lemon juice brandy and curaçao.
  • Mix with spoon and garnish with lemon slice.

    Brandy Liqueur
  • 1/2 shot curacao
  • 1 egg (yolk)
  • 1/2 shot brandy
  • Lightly whisk all together

    Classic Cocktail
  • 1 tsp caster sugar
  • 4 -6 cubes (cracked) Ice
  • 2 measures brandy
  • 1/2 measure (clear Curacao) curacao
  • 1/2 measure maraschino
  • 1/2 measure lemon juice
  • Rub the rim of a chilled glass with the lemon wedge and then dip in sugar to frost.
  • Put ice into shaker with the brandy, Curacao, Marachino and lemon juice.
  • Shake well.
  • Strain into frosted glass and decorate with lemon twist.
  • Variations: Champagne Cocktail, Tequila Cocktail, Brandy Cocktail.

    Dundee Highball Soda
  • 1/2 shot curacao
  • 2 teaspoons lemon juice
  • 2 teaspoons sugar syrup
  • 2 shots dark rum
  • Soda
  • Shake all (except soda) together with ice and serve in a whisky glass, top up with soda

    Fair and Warmer
  • 2 shots white rum
  • 3 dashes curacao
  • 1/2 shot sweet vermouth
  • Shake all together with ice and strain into chilled cocktail glass.
  • Garnish with a twist of lemon

    Ferocious Bitch
  • 1 midori
  • 1 curacao
  • 1 bottle blue wkd
  • top up lemonade
  • Half fill a pint glass with ice
  • Add the Midori and Blue Curacao
  • Then add the bottle of Blue WKD.
  • Top up with Lemonade if desired (or add a couple shots of vodka for extra kick)
  • Best split between two once made in the pint glass and should be drunk with straws
  • Beware of a seriously green tongue...

    Gin Fix
  • 1 shot curacao
  • 1 shot gin
  • 2 shots lemon juice
  • Fill a glass 1/3 full of crushed ice add lemon juice gin and curaçao
  • Mix with spoon and garnish with lemon slice

    Lady Brown
  • 2 teaspoons lemon juice
  • 1/2 shot gin
  • 2 teaspoons curacao
  • Shake together briefly and then serve over 3 ice cubes in a cocktail glass.

    Mai Tai
  • 2 parts dark rum
  • 2 parts white rum
  • 1 part curacao
  • 1 part grenadine
  • 2 parts pineapple juice
  • dash orgeat syrup
  • 1 part lime juice
  • Shake all together v. well (except paper umbrella, pineapple spear and ice cubes).
  • Strain into highball glass over ice cubes.
  • Garnish with pineapple spear on rim and paper umbrella
  • The paper umbrella is the most important part.

    Manhattan Sweet
  • 1/2 shot red (rosso) vermouth
  • 2 dashes curacao
  • 1 shot whisky
  • Shake all together with ice except the cherry
  • Then strain into a short stemmed glass and add a cocktail cherry.

    Napoleon
  • 1/2 shot amer picon
  • 2 shots gin
  • 1 shot dubbonet (red)
  • 1/2 shot curacao
  • Stir together in mixing glass with ice and strain into a chilled cocktail glass.

    Netherlands
  • 2 shots brandy
  • 1 shot curacao
  • Dash orange bitters
  • Shake all ingredients together then strain into a chilled old fashioned glass over ice cubes.

    Ohio
  • 2 dashes angostura bitters
  • 1/2 shot curacao
  • 1/2 shot cognac
  • Champagne
  • Mix all ingredients except champagne together
  • Pour into a champagne glass and top up with Champagne, (or sparkling wine)

    Oriental Cocktail
  • 2 shots whiskey
  • 1 shot lime juice
  • 1/2 shot curacao
  • 1/2 shot sweet vermouth
  • Shake together well with ice and strain into chilled cocktail glass.

    Prince of Wales
  • 1/2 shot curacao
  • splash orange bitters
  • champagne
  • Place ice cubes in a tall glass add Curaçao and bitters then top up with champagne.
  • Decorate with orange segment.

    Rum Fix
  • 4 shots lemon juice
  • 1 shot curacao
  • 1 shot white rum
  • Fill a glass 1/3 full of crushed ice add lemon juice rum and curaçao.
  • Mix with spoon and garnish with lemon slice.

    Sidecar
  • 1 part brandy
  • 1 part curacao
  • 2 parts lemon juice
  • Shake together with ice and serve in a cocktail glass.

    Whisky Fix
  • 4 shots lemon juice
  • 1 shot curacao
  • 1 shot brandy
  • Fill a glass 1/3 full of crushed ice add lemon juice brandy and curaçao.
  • Mix with spoon and garnish with lemon slice

    White Lady
  • 1 part curacao
  • 1 part gin
  • 1 part lemon juice
  • Shake well with ice and serve.

  • 2 shots white rum
  • 1 shot curacao
  • 1/2 shot lemon juice
  • Shake together well with ice and strain into chilled cocktail glass
