Gin Cocktails
|
All natural, made from pure grain alcohol.
Abbey cocktail
- 1 1/2 shots gin
- splash orange juice
- dash orange bitters
- Shake all ingredients with ice and strain into a chilled Cocktail glass.
- With a cherry on the top!
Bazooka
- 1/2 shot brandy
- 1 shot cherry brandy
- 1 shot gin
- pineapple spear
- Shake together with ice (except pineapple) and strain into cocktail glass.
- Garnish with pineapple
Black Forest Cocktail
- 1/2 shot sliwowitz
- 1/4 shot gin
- dash maraschino
- Mix together and strain into a glass.
Blue Moon
- 2 parts gin
- 1 part parfait amour
- Stir over ice
Bronx
- 1/2 shot orange juice
- 1/2 shot gin
- 1/2 shot red (rosso) vermouth
- Shake together and strain into cocktail glass.
Bronx Terrace
- 1/2 shot dry vermouth
- 1/2 shot lemon juice
- 1 shot gin
- Shake together and strain into cocktail glass.
Californian Ice Tea
- 1/2 vodka
- 1/2 gin
- 1/2 tequila
- 30ml sour mix
- 1/2 blue curacao
- 1 can lemonade
- 1/2 banana liqueur
- Full tot grenadine
- Add ice into a hurricane glass add grenadine, lemonade and sour mix
- Then add all the other stuff saving the blue carcaou for last
César Ritz
- 6 measures gin
- 2 measures dry vermouth
- 1 measure cherry brandy
- 1 measure kirsch
- Stir over ice in a mixing glass.
- Makes 3 glasses, but that's easier than trying to pour 1/3 of a measure!
Dangerous Pleasures
- 2 parts gin
- 2 parts ginger liqueur
- 1 part gomme
- a slpash of lemon juice
- Stir all the ingredients together with ice.
Dry Bronx
- 1 part gin
- 1 part orange juice
- 1 part dry vermouth
- Shake together with ice and strain into cocktail glass.
Dry Martini
- 1 shot gin
- dash angostura bitters
- dash dry vermouth
- 1 green olive
- Shake together ice, bitters, gin and vermouth. Strain into glass add olive then serve.
Eton Highball Soda
- 1 shot cherry brandy
- 1 shot gin
- 2 teaspoons lemon juice
- 2 teaspoons sugar syrup
- soda
- Mix together with ice shake well and strain into a whisky glass. Top up with soda.
Fallen Angel
- 2 shots gin
- 1 teaspoon creme de menthe
- dash angostura bitters
- 1 shot lime juice
- Shake all together with ice
- Strain into cocktail glass and garnish with cherry
Fifty Fifty
- 1 1/2 shots gin
- 1 1/2 shots dry vermouth
- 1 spanish olive
- Stir together with cracked ice (except olive) and strain into chilled cocktails glass garnishing with olive.
Gin and tonic
- 1 shot gin
- tonic water
- Place shot of gin into tumbler over ice then top up with indian tonic and add lemon slice, or perhaps a slice of lime.
Gin Buck
- 1 shot gin
- ginger ale
- juice of 1/2 a lemon(s)
- Place ice cubes, gin and lemon juice in a glass then top up with ginger ale.
Gin Cocktail
- 1 part gin
- 1 part grenadine
- Shake with ice strain into the glass and garnish with a cocktail cherry.
Gin cooler
- 1 teaspoon caster sugar
- juice of half a lemon(s)
- 2 shots gin
- ginger ale
- Shake together all ingredients except ginger ale with ice.
- Strain into a large whisky glass and top up with ginger ale.
Gin Crusta
- teaspoon caster sugar
- 1/2 lemon juice
- 1 shot gin
- Splash angostura bitters
- Dip rim of whisky glass in lemon juice shake off excess moisture dip in caster sugar frosting the rim.
- Mix together liquor, remaining lemon juice and ice
- Shake together and strain into glass
Gin Daisy
- 1/4 whole lemon juice
- 1/4 shot grenadine
- 1 shot gin
- soda
- Place crushed ice into liquidiser (1/3 full) add lemon juice grenadine and gin then blend for 1/2 minute and strain into champagne glass.
- Add a dash of chilled soda and 2 glace cherries + 2 chunks of pineapple on a cocktail stick to garnish.
Gin Fix
- 1 shot curacao
- 1 shot gin
- 2 shots lemon juice
- Fill a glass 1/3 full of crushed ice add lemon juice gin and curaçao
- Mix with spoon and garnish with lemon slice
Gin Highball
- 1 shot gin
- ginger ale
- Put 2 ice cubes and Gin in a wine glass top up with ginger beer and garnish with twist of orange.
Green Fantasy
- 1/3shot gin
- 1/3shot martini
- 1/3shot midori
- Dash lime cordial
- To fill glass lemonade
- Put all ingredients into a tall cocktail glass with ice, stir and garnish with slice of lime
HANTU BANYU
- 1 Oz Jack Daniels
- 3 Oz white wine
- 1 Oz blue curacao
- 0.5 Oz gin
- 0.5 Oz voka
- 0.5 Oz tequila
- Shake All Ingredients and add Ice cubes
Harlem Cocktail
- 2 shots gin
- 1.5 shots pineapple juice
- a dash maraschino
- shake together with ice.
- Strain into chilled cocktail glass and garnish with pineapple chunk on rim
Homestead
- 2 parts dry vermouth
- 1 part gin
- stir gin and vermouth with ice cubes and strain into cocktail glass. Garnish with orange slice.
Ideal
- 1 shot dry vermouth
- 1 shot gin
- splash maraschino
- splash grapefruit juice
- Shake all together with ice then strain into a glass (removing ice) and garnish with a cherry.
Jolly Green Giant
- 1 part white rum
- 1 part gin
- 1 part galliano
- 1 part blue curacao
- 1 part tequila
- Mix with ice and strain into shot glasses
K.G.B.
- 3/4 shot kirsch
- 2 shots gin
- 1/2 shot apricot brandy
- Combine all together in a cocktail shaker with ice shake well and strain into a cocktail glass. Add twist of lemon.
Kyoto
- 1 shot midori
- 2 shots gin
- 1/2 shot dry vermouth
- 1 dash lemon juice
- Shake well together with crushed ice and strain into a cocktail glass.
Lady Brown
- 2 teaspoons lemon juice
- 1/2 shot gin
- 2 teaspoons curacao
- Shake together briefly and then serve over 3 ice cubes in a cocktail glass.
Long Beach Ice Tea
- 2 parts cranberry juice
- 1 part gin
- 1 part white rum
- 1 part vodka
- 1 part triple sec
- Splash sweet & sour mix
- Shake the alchohol together with a splash of sweet & sour mix and pour together into a tall glass.
- Top up with Cranberry Juice (I suggest between 1/2 shot to a shot of each liquor)
Mah Jongg
- 1 part cointreau
- 1 part white rum
- 4 parts gin
- Mix together with ice and pour into a cocktail glass
Maiden's Blush
- 2 shots gin
- 1/2 teaspoon triple sec
- 1/2 teaspoon grenadine
- 1/2 teaspoon lemon juice
- Shake together with crushed ice and strain into chilled cocktail glass.
Martini
- 4 -6 cubes (cracked) Ice
- 3 measures gin
- 1 tsp dry vermouth
- 1 olive
- Put ice cubes into mixing glass.
- Pour gin and vermouth over ice and stir well to mix.
- Strain into cocktail glass and decorate with olive.
Moon Shot
- 2 shots gin
- 3 shots clam juice
- dash tabasco sauce
- Mix together with ice in a mixing glass and strain into a chilled cocktail glass
Napoleon
- 1/2 shot amer picon
- 2 shots gin
- 1 shot dubbonet (red)
- 1/2 shot curacao
- Stir together in mixing glass with ice and strain into a chilled cocktail glass.
Negroni
- 2 ounces gin
- 1 ounce campari
- 1 ounce sweet vermouth - a variation uses dry vermouth.
- 1 slice (required) orange
- Pour over ice cubes in a balloon glass, stir well.
- Add orange slice after giving a slit twist to express the oil in the skin.
Newbury
- 2 shots gin
- 1 1/2 shots sweet vermouth
- teaspoon triple sec
- Shake althogether with ice and strain into chilled cocktail glass.
- Garnish with twist of lemon.
Nightmare
- 1 shot madeira
- 2 shots gin
- 1 shot cherry brandy
- 1 dash orange juice
- Shake all together with crushed ice and strain into chilled cocktail glass.
Opal Cocktail
- 2 shots gin
- 1/2 shot triple sec
- 1/4 teaspoon caster sugar
- 1 shot orange juice
- Shake in cocktail shaker with ice and pour into cocktail glass.
Orange Blossom
- 1/2 shot gin
- splash grenadine
- 1/2 shot orange juice
- Shake well with ice then pour into glass
Orange Fizz
- juice of 2 orange(s)
- 2 shots gin
- 1 teaspoon caster sugar
- Soda
- Mix all except soda together thoroughly.
- Top up glass with soda.
Pall Mall
- 2 shots gin
- 1/2 shot dry vermouth
- 1/2 shot sweet vermouth
- Splash creme de menthe (colourless)
- Splash orange bitters
- Mix together in a mixing glass with ice and strain into a chilled cocktail glass
Parisian
- 2 shots gin
- 1 shot dry vermouth
- 1/2 shot creme de cassis
- Shake ingredients together well with ice and strain into chilled cocktail glass.
Piccadilly Cocktail
- 2 shots gin
- 1 shot dry vermouth
- 1/4 teaspoon pastis
- Splash grenadine
- Stir ingredients in a mixing glass with ice and strain into chilled cocktail glass.
Pink Carter Pick Me Up
- 1/2 shot! angostura bitters
- 1/2 shot gin
- champagne
- Place 2 ice cubes in glass add bitters then gin then top up with champagne
- Dust with grated lemon peel.
Pink Gin
- Angostura bitters
- Gin
- Add a splash of bitters to ice cubes in a glass.
- Swirl it round a bit to cool & coat the glass.
- Ditch the ice (don't want to dilute the gin!) and pour in the gin.
Queen Elizabeth
- 2 shot gin
- 1/2 shot dry vermouth
- 2 teaspoons benedictine
- Combine ingredients with ice cubes in a mixing glass and stir well strain into a chilled glass.
Royal Gin Fizz
- 1 shot gin
- 1 glass champagne
- 2 shots lemon juice
- 2 teaspoons caster sugar
- Blend ice cubes lemon juice, gin and caster sugar for a minute in a blender
- Serve and top up glass with champagne.
Royal Golden Fizz
- 1 egg (yolk)
- juice of 1 lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon caster sugar
- 1 shot gin
- 1 glass champagne
- Mix all together with ice (except champagne)
- Strain into a glass and top up with champagne.
Royal Orange Fizz
- Juice of 2 orange juice
- 1 shot gin
- 1 teaspoon caster sugar
- 1 glass champagne
- Mix all except champagne together thoroughly with ice.
- Strain into glass.
- Top up glass with champagne.
Silver Bullet
- 1/2 oz Scotch whisky
- 2 oz gin
- Twist for garnish lemon(s)
- Pour the scotch over ice in a mixing glass

- Stir to coat the ice
- Pour out the Scotch
- Add gin and strain into a cocktail glass
- Garnishing with the lemon twist
Singapore Sling
- 2 parts gin
- 1 part cherry brandy
- 1/2 part lemon juice
- dash sugar syrup
- 3 drops angostura bitters
- Top-up soda
- Shake all ingredients (except soda water) with cracked ice in a cocktail shaker.
- Strain and pour into a tumbler.
- Top up with soda water.
Sixty six
- 1 part campari
- 1 part dry vermouth
- 1 part sherry dry
- 1 part gin
- Simply mix pour into a large glass and add a few drops of lemon juice.
Sour-Faced Queen
- Gin
- Blue curacao
- Juice of 3 limes lime juice
- Juice of 2 lemons lemon juice
- Juice of 1 grapefruit grapefruit juice
- Prepare your mixed citrus juices first, in the proportions specified.
- Mix cocktail in large glass jug over ice: 2 measures gin 1 measure blue curacao 2-3 measures mixed citrus juices
Speed rail
- 1/4 shot vodka
- 1/4 shot white rum
- 1/4 shot triple sec
- 1/4 shot gin
- 1/4 shot malibu
- 1/4 shot peach schnapps (archers)
- 1/4 shot midori
- 1/4 shot blue curacao
- 3 count orange juice
- 3 count sweet & sour mix
- Fill a tall or collins glass to about 3/4 full with ice cubes.
- Add juices into a cocktail tin.
- Add all other ingredients into tin.
- Add a little ice into tin and shake.
- Strain the contents over the ice in the glass, and enjoy.
Sweet Martini
- Gin
- 1/2 shot gin
- dash grenadine
- 1 shot sweet vermouth
- Shake together ice, grenadine, gin and vermouth.
- Strain into glass add cherry then serve.
Tango Cocktail
- 2 shots gin
- 1 shot dry vermouth
- 1 shot sweet vermouth
- 1/2 shot triple sec
- Shake with ice and strain into chilled cocktail glass.
Tom Collins
- 1 shot gin
- 2 teaspoons caster sugar
- 4 shots lemon juice
- Soda
- Mix all except soda together with ice
- shake and pour into a tall glass
- Top up with soda
Trinity
- 1 part gin
- 1 part dry vermouth
- 1 part red (rosso) vermouth
- Pour generous quantities of each ingredient over ice in a large tumbler.
- Stir.
Ulanda
- 1 shot pernod
- 2 shots gin
- 1 shot triple sec
- Mix together well with ice in a mixing glass.
- Strain into chilled cocktail glass.
Union Jack
- 2 shots sloe gin
- 1 shot gin
- 1 teaspoon grenadine

- 2 parts gin

Vieille Cure
- 1/3 shot gin
- 1/3 shot Vieille Cure
- 1/3 shot cointreau
- Mix together with ice and pour into cocktail glass
White Lady
- 1 part curacao
- 1 part gin
- 1 part lemon juice
- Shake well with ice and serve.
White Lilly
- 30 ml white rum
- 30 ml triple sec
- 30 ml gin
- 2 dashes anisette
- 30 ml white rum, 30 ml triple sec 30 ml gin 2 dashes anisette
- Combine all into a shaker
- Strain into a chilled coctail glass
Xanthia
- 1/3 shot gin
- 1/3 shot cherry brandy
- 1/3 shot yellow chartreuse
- Mix together with ice and pour into a cocktail glass.
Yale Cocktail
- 2 shots gin
- 1 shot dry vermouth
- 3-5 dashes angostura bitters
- 2-3 dashes maraschino
